    Why Your School Should Have

    First Aiders for Mental Health

Schools invest in physical first aid because emergencies require trained responses.

Mental health deserves the same level of commitment.

For school leaders, investing in accredited First Aid for Mental Health training demonstrates a commitment to staff wellbeing, strengthens safeguarding practices, and contributes to a healthier, more resilient workforce.

First Aid for Mental Health training equips staff to recognise the early signs of mental ill-health, respond

appropriately, and guide colleagues and pupils toward the right support.

Having qualified First Aiders for Mental Health builds a positive culture where wellbeing is prioritised

and staff feel safe asking for help.
